promoters don't care about win/lose outcomes when big money is involved and there are no better options.

..JMM is better off going up against the light weight boxers. Schaefer should have match-up JMM against Bradley, it is better to lose to Tim that get beaten up by Diaz. This time around, I doubt JMM will get lucky with another KO. Pac is in a diff league now, forget Pac!

The reason why Schaefer is bringing Marquez up is because he's trying to give Arum a plan B in case Mayweather says no to the May/Pac fight. He clearly wants a piece of Manny and is aware that it could possibly be Pac's last fight in November.

I'd certainly prefer a Marquez/Pac III than either a Margarito I or Cotto II.
