This is exactly why Golden Boy are great marketers, but TERRIBLE MATCHMAKERS!!! Schaefer and Oscar love spewing bull**** like this...."Marquez has Manny's number." etc. Nobody in boxing believes them, but they know how to appeal to the casual sports fan!!! Because the first two fights were close YEARS AGO, Golden Boy thinks that the casual fan will believe the third fight will be close!

The reality: Marquez will be 37 in August and has since declined in skills and did not move up in weight successfully. Whereas, Pacquiao's career is the EXACT OPPOSITE!!! He is now in his peak physically, his boxing skills have drastically improved since the second Marquez fight and he moved up in weight successfully!!
