GBP and Freddie Roach pick the fights...

... everyone with any kind of boxing knowledge know that this is the bottom line to every picking of a fight. Trainer and Promotor sit down and discuss who is 'suitable'. So, why all the hate on Khan? Is he not just fighting whoever is put in front of him?

Seriously, if Khan wanted to fight Bradley today from the bottom of his heart and even made it public it wouldn't mean **** until GBP and Roach gave the thumbs up Richard Shizer done the deal.

You see names like 'A Near Con' floating about and they dont make sense to me. The only cons about are GBP. Dont get me wrong, i am in noway a Khan nuthugger, you can see my previous posts in him to know that. I just dont get this whole, Khan doesn't want this, and that. Khan ducking, Khan sending pics << That **** was funny.

He has previously stated he wants fighters on the decline but I see that as him copying and echoeing someone. You may not have noticed but Khan does that alot as he himself cant really put as sentence together.

So bottom line question..

Is Khan really the ducking or is GBP/Roach?

To be fair to Khan i think he wants to fight the best guys out there. GBP simply want to make as much money as they can out of him so won't match him up with the top guys. And that is how it is.

Yes, but lets be honest here. The money must have been a massive factor too. In GBP lil minds fights like Marquez are big fights regardless of his decline. Even though Marquez is not suited to fight above lightweight right now. Again, whatever fight they put in front.

Also, 'top fights' could mean anything from top guys in the division to big names still floating about.

I certainly would not agree with a Khan-Marquez taking place but if that who GBP put infront of him then he's got to do his job and take it.

Khan has the final say on who he fights.He chose Malignaggi,aksed GBP to make the fight happen after insults on twitter.It's the same with all his fights,they suggest and he picks,if he's not happy he tells them

Gauranteed he sits with Roach and asks for his opinion. Whatever Roach says, Khan does. His say is Roachs say.

Freddie Roach does NOT have much of a say. For an example, Roach made it clear that he does not see any purpose in a Margo fight and would rather put Pac in the ring with either Marquez, Bradley, and some other fighter who I can't remember. Arum then came out shortly after and said "I respect Freddie's opinion, but its not his choice. We're going with Margarito".

Its the same way with GBP. All they care about is money and making their fighters hype jobs. They know they're running out of stars and Floyd doesn't have much time left in the sport, so they're trying to build up their new fighters with tomato cans/easy fights.

Roach no longer has a say in Manny's careers but he did a few years ago. Khan is still up and coming and hasnt got the power to over rule anyone.

GBP are without doubt the string pullers in this scenario. I just see no point in childish name calling as 'Amir Con' and so on when its not his final say. Many can say it is but its not. Richard Shizer and GBP are the Cons.

I am not happy with who he has been fighting and maybe even going to fight in the near future but I can respect that he's just fighting whoever is infront of him.
