Is Paez coming back

Local rumor has it that Jorge "El Maromero" Paez is making a comeback. To most of you this probably means nothing, but to people who have gotten to see him fight, this could be pretty cool. He is one of the most under appriciated fighters in decades. He was the true Mexican Boxing Idol. I grew up near farming towns, i dont know about other places in America, but here in california, mexicans work all of the fields. And almost everytime that Paez fought, that is all i would here about the next day when i went to help in the fields across from my house. Most of the time i couldnt understand a damn thing they said because i am white. But the point was understood by me. Paez was one of the True legands of the sport. When it came to fan followings, at the time the only other Hispanic to have a good solid following was Roberto Duran. I must say that duran had a better career, but Jorge "El Maromero" Paez had the true fan following and respect. I wish Paez the best of luck.

Yeah, Paez is pretty cool. The only thing I've heard about him lately, though, is that he could be one of the opponents for Chavez during his farewell tour. Paez's kid is fighting now too by the way. El "Maromerito" just recently turned pro and has two wins under his belt.
