The undefeated WBC interim-middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik (29-0, 10KOs) has an interesting fight being waved in front of him against the son of the legendary boxer from Mexico, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (41-0), whose father, from 1984-1996 was the world champion at super featherweight (WBC), Lightweight (WBA / WBC) and Welterweight (IBF / WBC). All of these guys calling out Martinez....(sigh). Martinez arguably beat the most avoided fighter in boxing (Paul Williams), just came off a win against a naturally bigger and stronger opponent in Kelly Pavlik. He'd wipe the canvas with any of these unproven wannabes.Comment

i don't know about this fight, but i think it's good for chavez and roach to work together one more time and more weeks together. i think chavez should have gone after a good trainer when he had like 12-15 fights and could have been fighting better opposition at 20 fights and not over 40...this is the only reason i kind of agree with this fight, that it gives roach one more fight to work with chavez before he fights cotto,martinez...even roach said he doesn't know how much he can help chavez the first time, thats why i feel one more is ok,but he should fight for a championship after this,no excusesComment

its a good fight for chavez jr zbik is a step higher then duddy more skilled better defense and a better boxer by looking his record he seems to get clear decesions.in my eyes and im sure in most people's he is a top 10 middleweight.this will leave martinez no choice but to fight the punisher againComment

What a load of crap. Zbik was supposed to defend against his first legit opponent, Gevor, in his next fight. Then, surprise surprise, Universum sets Gevor up to instead take a super middleweight title fight and Zbik is now defending against a 16-fight, no-punch novice from Argentina. Par for the course for Universum and its fake champions. I won't believe Zbik will fight Martinez or Chavez until they show up in the same ring and the bell starts the first round.Comment

In Germany, or there about, Zbek wins. In Mexico, or the south west USA, Chavez wins. Is there a neutral site where this fight will sell? Looks like Zbek boxes better, but Jr. has more power. Freddie might be the difference again.Comment
