But anywho my point is, I don't think good enough fighters are out there to make Pacquiao surpass Barrera as far as legacy goes.

ya right now...........6 years is a loooooong time?

Barrera was KO'd by Pac and should go for a rematch.
          Barrera dont want a rematch

Pac got a draw with Marquez and they should have a rematch.
          Marquez turned down a rematch

36-0 at 122. Has fought and beaten better competition (arguably)

Fights top notch comp all of the time and never avoids a big fight.

Has only ever lost two Barrera, both times were close, and their second fight was very controversial.

He's never been knocked down and has one of the best chins ever seen at lighter weights.

Barrera has been dominated and KOed on more than one occasion...Morales hasn't.

Erik is a more versatile fighter. He can take the lead and box using his range, he can sit back and counter punch beautifully, or he can go to war whenever he feels like it.

He could potentially be the first Mexican 4 class world champ at lighter weights. He is ambitious and it seems like everyone else is chasing him up the ranks.

He is fearless and NEVER puts on a bad show....he has a heart the size of Mexico.

I dont think Barrera fears Manny,or Manny fears Barrera. Though i think that Barrera grossly underestimated Manny in the first fight, and a rematch would be alot more competitive. Barrera isn't really a brawler anymore, he has become a danm good counter puncher (much like Marquez or Morales did against Manny), though he will brawl when need be. As far as whom has the better legacy,it is really unfair to say right now, we will just have to wait till their careers are over to compare.

yeah well. Marco still hurt Erik's feelings with the "shoe comment".

Barrera by a landslide. Pacquiao's only good win is against Barrera. He drew with Marquez in a fight he should have easily been able to win and he lost to Morales because any fighter with a strong chin will always beat Pacquiao. I don't really see Pacquiao accomplishing much at this point.

I second that, but its very close because (his impressive resume &)Barrera has beaten Morales .
