        Yep.

Adamek had a surprise for Ali family: a special, handmade leather highlander belt from the Zywiec region in Poland, where Adamek was born.

I agree, Adamek is one of my favorite boxers. He is humble, fights anyone without question, never complains, and is a great, great boxer. He flies under the radar most of the time but I'm glad he is getting the recognition he deserves.

          WAR ADAMEK!!!!!!!!

lol Nah. Tomaz is a Goral which is a group of mountian people that live in the Karpati mountians in the region between Poland and Slovak boarders. He's one of the most famous Gorals and certianly the most famous sports figure. That belt is a traditional Goral handcrafted article of clothing.

In the first photo you can see the guy on the left wearing something similar. Gorals in their traditional clothing.

The accolade and recognition itself, however, is very nice. That's what counts.
The award is what counts I guess.

If Ali was there, it would have been much better.

Agreed but i'm sure it isn't easy for him getting around. I suppose the other thing could have been to hold it close to Ali so he wouldn't have to travel but in any event, still a nice thing to have that public recognition.
