Always looked for the hardest fights and the BIGGER guys. You would never see Floyd jump up in weight and fight the best guys there.

Thats the one thing about floyd i dont like. Great boxer but he's seriously gotta fight the big dudes and be risky. Im sick and tired of him always being 100-1 favourite to win. Those fights arent fun to watch at all. The only great thing about Shane vs Floyd was when Floyd almost got Knocked Down. That woulda been sweet. I was actually rooting for Shane to floor Floyd so Floyd would get taken a notch down and back down to earth

*THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BOXING STYLE.

Oscar De La Hoya?? Bro be serious for a second. Oscar fought Mosley who at the time had to be smaller seeing as how just a year before that he was fighting 2 weight classes below ww. He fought Steve Forbes at the highest weight Forbes ever fought at. He fought Manny Pacquiao at Pacquiao's highest weight at that time. He fought Floyd Mayweather at JMW which was the highest Mayweather has fought at.. He has a fantastic resume but let's not act like he was some kind of a giant killer. Mayweather on the other hand has been the smaller guy in many fights. The only two high profile fights that come to mind where he wasn't was Hatton and Marquez.. And damn I hate to admit it but even Winky and Mayorga came up in weight to fight Tito..

Also fyi if Mayweather vs Martinez gets made, despite Martinez's titles and size, Mayweather will still be a favorite in that fight. Mayweather along with Pacquiao are at the top of the sport. They're always going to be the favorite against guys in or around their weight classes.

I think that's how most fighters loses fights, they're worrying too much about giving the fans what they want(which is fair), but as a competitor, winning comes first everytime.

yes Oscar fought tougher opponents and had a better resume nobody can argue that, Oscar also lost just about every big fight he was ever in
no he should go for the knock out instead of being a *****.

The man plainly states that he is not talking about Floyds fighting style, but yet, on this forum, as a Floyd fan there is a unspoken rule...NEVER EVER QUESTION FLOYD IN ANY ASPECT!!!! You will be burned at the satke!

The most current example is this topic, the one before this, was LarryX (research the matter if you are confused)....

And people really have the nerve to say Pac fans are the worst (btw, i'm not a so called "*******"...Please be more creative if you respond to this).

seems like every pacfan to you is a *******, I think you're the one who pretends to be a pacfan(regarding your last post about how you are both pacfan and floydfan) but deep inside you are lying to yourself.

I hope floyd makes his own sports called defencing. Floyd is good and will probably take 3 weeks to see another one like him but he is a waste of talent fighting lower weight class opponent since he got his name out.

                what a waste..

I agree with the thread except for that little part.I suggest you watch Floyd's career because he "actually" moved up in weight. Did you know that he wasn't always a WW? You probably didn't, but be grateful that I took my time to teach you something. Also did you know that WW is his 5th division, which basically means that he started in the lower weights, and moved up all while fighting guys bigger then him.
