Ask people on the street if they think this is blatant ducking and they will agree with you.
the only people that will try to justify this with their flawed logic should be seen all over this thread, saying that floyd makes more money and therefore deserves a 60-40
they will trace history as far back as pac as an uknown foreigner and compae his PPV numbers then to floyd's numbers in his entire career fighting HBO ppv fights. Pacquiao started getting big in 08 with DLH and got more recognition in 08 and floyd took up to the occasion and used the HATTON/PAC fight to get some publicity for himself to market himself as potential pacquiao opponent.
In a sense, he used pacquiao's rising popularity to exert some value for himself. Once he loses, people aint watching him fight anymore. from an objective view his fights are boring to the casual spectator and his value diminishes to virtually little if he ever loses. Pacquiao fights however, will be more of a value to HBO since people will still pay to see the kid fight why? simple. his style is simply PPV material. having a loss against morales did not diminish his value, he still fought great fighters of elite caliber.
floyd tried to make himself relevant by using pacquiao or riding in the prospect as pacquiao's potential opponent when he came out of retirement. whether directly or indirectly, pacquiao's name is mentioned whenever he fought and that brings me to my final point. without pacquiao, theres no way hes making that 40 mill. i can argue that pac made more money than floyd since floyd came out of retirement. the numbers and facts are out there.
people just need to stop trying to duck for this guy and just make this damn fight happen. 50/50 is what it should beComment

Spot on mate! This is one reason out of a hundred I may just want Pac to retire and leave Floyd alone and rack up more money...if he can do it without riding into Pacquiao's fame.floyd tried to make himself relevant by using pacquiao or riding in the prospect as pacquiao's potential opponent when he came out of retirement. whether directly or indirectly, pacquiao's name is mentioned whenever he fought and that brings me to my final point. without pacquiao, theres no way hes making that 40 mill. i can argue that pac made more money than floyd since floyd came out of retirement. the numbers and facts are out there.
Damn pity for Floyd! Such a skilled boxer, prolly the most skilled of our generation (no pun just the truth) but it sucks to think he resorts to all these ****! And to think his fans are so darn wet soaked on their nighties with his PPV earnings but gets none in return.
But let's see if Pacquiao retires outta the boxing limelight and if Floyd has something to cling onto if he resorts to such utter BS further.Comment

PLayboy did you see the FORBES? It looks as if Floyd made 20 Million for Marquez & 45 Million for SHane Mosley by Your own Logic Floyd beats manny by 20 Million in earning power Floyds the 2nd most paid Athlete behind Tiger Woods, Damn I know you hate that

He tried to make himself relevant? Really? Floyd downplayed a fight with Manny for the longest, where were you? Floyd's name was mentioned as a possible future opponent after everyone of Manny's wins after Floyd 'retired'. As a matter of fact, on THIS board, Manny's fans clamored for Floyd to come out of retirement to fight Manny. So, in reality, Floyd was always relevant in boxing because ALOT of people felt that he had "unfinished business" in boxing.
