Yeah, I guess Diva Gaye really "tried" to make that fight with Wlad.

This should be a good fight, I am looking forward to it. You have two Olympic gold medalists fighting each other for 3 world titles. Povetkin is undefeated as well. Wlad has been taking fighters "0"s for some time now.

What's amazing though is the quality of his opposition since his comeback from the Brewster loss, from those 12 since his comeback in 2004:

5 undefeated guys
6 world champions
3 Olympic medalists

Combined record of these 12: 345-18-10!!!!!

Wlad's opponents win-loss ratios is amazing. I can't think of one ATG boxer who is surpassing him, I believe a couple of fights ago he was close to Mike Tyson and George Foreman but he has surpassed them now.

This fight has taken too long to happen.

It will be a good one! Povetkin hasn't lost a fight as a pro, and he has the best amateur record of all time at super heavyweight. He's won something like 10 to 12 Gold Medals in international tournaments.

But he has a weakness: an idiot in his corner, Teddy Atlas.

I remember when Teddy yelled like a maniac and distracted Michael Moorer, and then George Foreman landed a big punch and became the oldest HW champion of all time.

He's got a good one, yes. And avenged all of his loss' but I'd say Felix Savon's the best heavyweight of all time.

Haye is fighting someone who is coming off a loss ?

He may as well be. Harrison lost to Joe Rogan not too long ago and looked like a punk in the Streetfighter Tournament till he got lucky and some bums walked onto the ends of his punches. Beating Michael Sprott on a lucky shot in a fight he was getting whooped in was basically another loss as all he did was reinforce how truly sorry he is.

Fighting any number of Heavyweights coming off a loss would be a much more difficult task than fighting an Audley Harrison who has put together a 4 fight run over someone elses sparring partners.
