He wasn't that good at 168 :S

He wasn't even the proper champion, Kessler had the WBA super belt and Mundine had the "regular" belt.

He didn't have much fighting heart and wasn't active enough......he should have been able to beat Kessler with his speed, but was gun shy and too scared to get hit....as it turned out he took 3 to 4 rds from Kessler.

Don't be silly, he was never in the Kessler fight.

He lost to Siaca (the knockdown probably made the difference) but Kessler dismantled him, if I remember rightly Kessler got a shutout on one card. Mundine isn't a good fighter and being weight drained isn't going to help him. Cotto and Margarito would destroy him so bad.

He hasn't got the reflexes or the chin to get away with his hands down style against the better fighters he was knocked down by Crazy Kim, Siaca and out by Ottke and any fighter with half a chin doesn't get hurt by Ottke and I'm sure he was knocked down before that by a japanese fighter I can't recall atm.

His chin is questionable at best......he is still wasted talent...he should have moved to the USA long ago and dedicated himself to the sport. It's strange to see a fighter go down in weight as they get older........i'm curious to see if he can offer anything at 54.

Since Kessler, Mundine has been screaming he wants to fight top quality oppenents, he has failed to do so. I don't believe anything he's saying until he's in the ring with one.
