The new WBA rankings have Mundine at No. 2 behind Antonio Margarito despite him never having fought in that division before. This after Mundine blatantly ducked Gennady Golovkin in a fight over a bogus WBA trinket last month... 'The Man' Mundine debuts at 154 Wednesday night in Australia against unknown Argie, Carlos Jerez...
Mundine rated No.2 at 154 by WBA

That's all true - already is true - but it's not the point. It's the insane WBA rankings. How on earth do they come up with this ****???Comment

Mundine is a beast, he would be top 3 in any division he wishes to move to...
But seriously, these sanctioning bodies are only out for the money. If they see a viable fight that will make dollar, they're gonna put that fighter straight up the rankings. A complete farce if you ask me, but what can we do?
Margarito at number 1 for example, loses to Mosley at 147, suspended from the sport for over a year, comes back to face Roberto Garcia at 154, beats him.....and gets a number 1 spot by the WBA........absolutely ridiculous.Comment
