I mean... are you really hedging your argument on Floyd Mayweather Jr. making intelligent decisions whenever he opens his mouth? If so, I feel like you probably need a new circumstance to hedge your perception of truth on.

You're asking me what I would do if I were Floyd? I'm pretty sure I'd do a lot of things differently and wouldn't say some of the bull**** he says but that's just me. I'm not him, so who cares what I would do? I would've saved up money and retired before with my health intact and just travel and **** high priced call girls a la Charlie Sheen. I'd like to think that I wouldn't be a prima donna and make all these demands like Mayweather/Pacquiao/Leonard/Robinson, but who knows.

I don't know what Floyd's motives really are. Maybe he's su****ious of Pacquiao because his dad convinced him that he's dirty. Maybe he heard rumors in boxing circles that Manny is dirty and wants to make sure he's not. Maybe Floyd's been using too to help him move through the weights and now has settled on 147, and stopped using, and now wants to fight a "clean" fight. Maybe it's just a negotiating ploy, or mind games, or fear. I don't know.

Anyway in regards to him saying he's taking two years off and having people say he's ducking Manny...if the fight ends up getting signed a little while after that, does it even matter what was said before? Mayweather's already been criticized for not fighting certain opponents, fighters hear a LOT of bull**** from hostile fans, so why would this extra trash talk for a short period of time bother him that much? Remember when the Mosley fight was taking a few days too long to materialize, and people were waiting for Floyd to sign? He was getting ****ted on in those few days badly.

Now if you want a "*****" response, then you should ask a "*****". In fact Mayweather & Pacquiao are my two favorite fighters out there, but lately they've been annoying me with their prima donna antics.

I'll say that if I were Floyd, I would've agreed to the 24 days back in January. Likewise for Manny and 14 days.

But why does it even matter? We're not them.

I kind of don't even think either side really wanted in on March 13, as it was less than 4 months after Pacquiao-Cotto, and I think they wanted a bigger build-up for what will likely be the richest prize fight ever.

I used to try to prove points in threads... I don't anymore.

Why? A point never got proved, and I had a lot more fun when trying to absorb the knowledge of those much more knowledgeable than me. PED User (Thread Stealer) is honestly tops in my book of who knows what. I'm more impressed by his knowledge on the sport than anyone else I've run in to on this board.

Runner up is Silencers... that boy knows his stuff too... I've always been in awe with how much he knows.

Third place... it's hard, but... I'll throw my support to Benny ST. Another person who just completely humbles me with what I know about the sport.
