I'd have TONS of respect for Haye if he just came out (or his manager) and said listen, we all know this is an unwinnable fight, and at the moment David isn't interested in that type of risk. Man THAT would take some balls right there.
So Haye lied about Wlad talks? Shocker......

I hope he doesnt come out and start talking when Wlad and Vitali have both agree to fight someone else, I know he has some family problems at the moment but i dont want to hear "I was going to fight Wlad but he chose Povetkin or i was going to fight Vitali but he chose Valuev" right now i would wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.Comment

It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
My predictions:
- Haye will start calling out and trash talking Wladimir again once he signs to fight Povetkin. He'll continue to lie about the offers made.
- Haye will not agree to fight Vitali this year, but he may do so after Vitali turns 40 next year.
- Haye will not fight until November at the earliest, and it wouldn't surprise me if he waits until early 2011 for his next fight. He'll need to eventually fight Chagaev.
- Bunce will continue to nuthug Haye.Comment

I think this might happen, Haye wants to fight Vitali first and now that Wlad is fighting Povetkin it leaves the door open for Vitali, Haye said he wants to retire next year and i think he wants Wlad to be his retirement fight.Comment

Just a few days ago Haye publically said talks with Wlad were still ongoing and that the Harrison fight was a joke.
Today we find out from Steward Wlad goes into purse bids for Povetkin tomorrow..........
What is it with David Haye is he incapable of telling the truth? Can anyone really place more truth in Hayes' statement over Stewards'?
And Steve Bunce his 'defender'? What a sell out. I used to love that guy but I've lost so much respect for him now - he needs to man up and publically say what's what instead of placating Haye,Comment
