Can a "ruined" fighter score the second best win of his career?

If a fighter is an undefeated champ and ranked in the top 5 P4P, and then suffers a brutal beating in a defeat and is "ruined", can he score the second best win of his career after that?

What if this 2nd best career victory was against a bigger opponent?

It is possible I guess, it depends on what kind of run they had before they got ruined. It is unlikely, but a ruined guy may run into a solid fighter who just fits their style.

Your implying that Margarito didnt ruin Cotto?

And I dont consider Foreman to be one of his best wins.

        1. Mosley 2. Judah 3. Quintana

Nah, I wasn't thinking about Cotto when I had this in mind.

Quintana is not his 3rd best win.

After the "no mas" Duran was able to beat davey moore after he was written off.

even more impressive was that more than five years later he was able to defeat iran barkley and duran was even further removed from his best days

                    * Proceeded to claim 7 titles (4 lineal) in 7 divisions

                    * Claimed one of the best comebacks in boxing history againts JLC.

Mike Tyson - A massive uppercut and a couple more power bombs sent him scrambling for his mouth piece.
