When Floyd beats Manny, should he retire?

I think for the most part, he still has a handful of fights in him before he starts showing signs of age or what not. But, to be honest, if he beats Pacquiao, which to many people is the p4p #1 guy in the world or whatever, he has nothing else to prove. He can retire right then and there and everyone who reveres manny will have to take their hat off, admit he's a greater boxer and salute him. he'll probably go down as one of the most hated boxers of all time though..but it'll be cool..cuz no matter what, he'll still be better than manny

You need to ask Floyd if he will fight Manny?

He should retire one way or the other. But if he beats Manny I think people will still give him flack and say he should have fought this guy, or that guy. Floyd will never get the respect he deserves. And it's partially his own fault. If he didn't run his mouth so much, people would probably like him more!

Just because Floyd beats Manny doesn't mean he's better.

If Floyd gained 500 lbs. and fought Valuev at Heavyweight and lost, does that mean Valuev is a greater boxer than Floyd? No.

That is why JCC Jr > Floyd because JCC Jr could go up to Heavyweight and beat Valuev right now. Does that make him better than Valuev? No. Even though he is, and that's the bottom line.

I feel whoever wins should re-match the losing fighter if it was even close to being a fight.
but if it was complete obliteration then I would want Manny to fight for a real title at 154 (no catchweights) or Floyd to fight Sergio for his Middleweight title. then either man could retire as Legends

He will still have 3-4 more fights left in him. So I dont think he will retire because he still has goals like fighting in the U.K and possibly fighting for the Middleweight title.
