dude is a dolt, seriously man there was always something about his face I can't stand and I'm not the kind of person to feel like that about anyone for no reason but something about his face makes me dislike him. he says he wants Mayweather, the fighter, to lose all because of what idiots are saying about him? how much love do you really have for the fighters who make this sport then? seriously this guy needs to just put aside what his fans say, Floyd is a great fighter and I would like to see his greatness and live threw not wish him failure and to be declined as one of the bunch. we need more Boxing fans and less journalists reporting our sports news..Comment

Fischer is pretty immature really, he looks to be in his early 40's, and yet he acts like a kid.Comment

Doug Fischer? ever heard of PROFESSIONALISM!
these are the type of writers and "so called experts" I can't stand because they take stuff so personal and they judge boxers based on things OUTSIDE OF THE RING instead of just judging and basing everything they do INSIDE OF THE RING
then as others mention when he is in Mayweather's face he is kissing ass and pretending like he is a fan like most of these LAME boxing reportersLast edited by sicko; 06-28-2010, 05:02 PM.Comment

And still to this very minute I haven't got one reply. It just shows that Doug Fischer's statement has no substance... how this guy can be a journalist, I don't know!?!Comment

Bro it's funny how I've asked everyone in this thread that agrees with Doug this simple question. "What is it that Floyd fans do that make you want him to lose?"
And still to this very minute I haven't got one reply. It just shows that Doug Fischer's statement has no substance... how this guy can be a journalist, I don't know!?!
When Floyd makes these comments it is easier to take because a) almost everyone knows he moslty does this to hype up the gate for his fights by getting people to pay hoping that he'll lose, and b) Floyd is the one delivering the tremendous talent that he obviously has. That's a lot different than when one of his cult followers or fanboys do the same thing.
So now you have one reply. Hopefully you'll get more.Comment

I heard much worst statements/opinions from Floyd fanboys berrating anybody who's on Floyd's path. So, why is it a big deal for a sport journalist to voice out his own opinion.Comment

Speaking for myself, I find many Floyd's fans here to be insufferable. They disrepect anyone who is compared to him or suggested as a worthy challenger. They obsess about how much Floyd makes and how much he draws on PPV. They disrespect past boxing greats by buying into Floyd's hype about being the "best of all time", even though his infrequent fighting and carefully selected opponents don't justify it. They follow Floyd like sheep and believe that Pacquaio is juiced up despite not one shred of evidence indicating it other than his demented father and uncle pointing a finger. They won't accept that Floyd is as much to blame for no Pac fight as Manny is.

How is this any different from many Pacquiao or Klitschko fans that do the exact same things that you don't like or listed here? "Pacquiao is P4P the best in history" "Klitschkos hit twice as hard as Foreman and would destroy Ali". What I find amazing is when people single out Mayweather fans as if they're blind or oblivious to what I see here on on youtube/NSB and anything else boxing related on the internet. The bottom line is all fans are annoying when they love the fighter and not the sport.Comment
