Dejan Zaveck/Rafal Jackiewicz II taking place in August or September

It hasn't been reported on any english sites yet, but Zaveck confirmed on his official website that his next fight is in August or September and will be against Rafal Jackiewicz. He's looking to redeem what he thinks was a robbery in their first fight. It's taking place in Slovenia. A few Slovene websites are saying it's happening August 10th, but it's not official yet.

    Should be good.

Well from what I saw he won the part of that 11th rd and the 12th but I am going to find the rest of that vid and score the fight to see what I think.

So maybe Jan could be unbeaten realistically huh?

He is not a bad fighter and any fighter trying to avenge a loss should gain favor with fans.

His footwork is his biggest weakness. I'd love to see him team up with an American trainer. His upper body movement and defense is pretty good. His jab is decent too, it went right through Hlatshwayo's guard just like it went through Jackiewicz's.

He's already a star back home in Slovenia, let's see how hard he wants to work and how far he wants to take his career.

So far I have it by rounds Jackiewicz 1, Zaveck 2(close) and 3.

Yes, perhaps with an American trainer he can improve. I will admit, despite his serious lack of skill he does have some pop. It'll just take A LOT of work and some better opposition before I can take him seriously.

Jackiewicz's is the IBF #1 contender, so If he gets by him I'd like to see him fight someone like Alfonso Gomez (Ranked #6) or Carlos Abregu (Ranked #5).

Or, if he's crazy, fight Berto or Bradley at 147 on HBO.

Berto has shown interst in a unification with him so who knows, maybe it will happen. Now wouldn't be the best time for that though. But Gomez-Zaveck on the other hand would be a perfect matchup. I wonder if Arum would be willing to make that fight.
