Easy solution to Mayweather/Pacquiao's 60-40 situation!

It seems like the big hurdle for the negotiations this time is Mayweather's insisance that he gets 60-40 and Manny wants 50-50 of the money to be made. Well, how about this...

Mayweather is guaranteed 50%, Pac is guaranteed 40%, the winner gets the last 10%. That seems like the most logical thing to do, but I don't think Mayweather would accept it because honestly, I thnk he's scared of Pac-Man. He keeps coming up with lame excuses as to why not to fight him. Just bring on the friggin' fight already!

If the drawing power of both fighters are compared and contrasted, this makes sense.

What do you mean, "it seems"? We are only hearing one side say this and that just about every other day. So, if you are not an insider, you don't know what is actually going on.

This has been proposed a million times and it is not a good idea.

Simply put, it lays enormous pressure on the officials. 10% of the purse equates to millions of dollars.

That means one scorecard one way or the other (Think Pacquaio-Marquez 1, where one judge changed the outcome of the fight, by not ruling a 10-6 in favour of Manny) or a controversial referee stoppage (Think Chavez-Taylor 1) may be responsible for a sway of tens of millions of dollars in favour of one fighter over another.

It's not feasible to adopt a contract like this.
