My favorite fighter of all time is Felix Trinidad. He alone is the main reason I became a hardcore boxing fan. I was rooting for him a fellow Los Angelino in Oscar De la Hoya in what was considered fight of the millennium.

I have no Puerto Rican in me, Born and raised in L.A just like Oscar. Oscar was American who represented America in the Olympics. But, what at the time was considered the biggest fight in history. I was rooting for my favorite fighter I was rooting for the guy who got me hooked to boxing. the guy who made me a fan. The Puerto Rican guy who I had no ties to.

I am a fan of boxing, the sport. I like fighters from different nationalities. I don't watch boxing due to nationalism bull****.

What i'm getting at is the fact that many people are wishing for the downfall of Mayweather in fight because of the fact that they don't like his personality...all that B.S. aside, this is the biggest fight ever...a fellow American vs a Filipino...I'm going to root for the guy who represents my country....

This is just plain ****** and narrow minded. We should root for "x" fighter just because hes from USA? Give me a break. You wanna talk about being patriotic....what does Floyd represent? He represents (as many fighters do), Greed, Ignorance, Arrogance, Jealousy, Disrespect fullness........see what im saying. Heck look at David Haye. Heres a guy that Lennox thinks can be more than what hes showing, though im sure that many from his country would still root for Klitsckho.

Im one of the few that can appreciate ALL fighters. Most get emotional and resort to name calling when they feel their fav fighter is being threatened. End of the day...WHEN THE FIGHT HAPPENS THIS YEAR (it will), i dont care who wins, as i love both fighters, and both bring something special to the sport. That does not make me any less of a american or any less of a hispanic, just because im rooting for someone whos not from my country.
