Rumor has it that Floyd is to fight in Dec 2010 which sounds more logical given that fact that it should be against Manny & what better way to close the year out. If Floyd vs Manny is to take place we should know by Sept because usually the fighters make the announcement 3 months before the actual bout. The 3 months in advance gives fighters enough time to train and promote the fight. So for all you fans expecting to see Floyd vs Manny signed, I doubt will see that this summer.

For some reason i think this fight is going to be made, it just feels like what were hearing is just being put out there to keep us wanting to see what happens next. I know that before the fight wasn't made but i think this time around it will happen. I mean how can the biggest $$$ fight in the sport of boxing not be made. If HBO & Showtime were able to put a fight together, i don't see how TR & GBP not reach an agreement. I just hope i don't end up eating my words.

Could it be possible that Arum and GBP are waiting for the world cup to be over till they make any type of announcement? Right now soccer has all the spotlight (deservedly so) and it could be that they think this announcement deserves its own huge stage. Or it could be just my imagination... something to think about though...

That wouldn't surprise me at all. They could possibly even upstage the world cup by coming out and announcing the fight the day of the finally. I'm with you I think this ****ery is all a big conspiracy to get all the fans in a frenzy to maximize ppv. That's what it all comes down to the money.

That could be possible at this point I think anything is possible. Maybe the fight is already signed and they're waiting for the right time to bring it to the public. Who knows tho right?

They usually announce this type **** the weekend of a fight. So if they make the fight I'd expect to hear something official before Marquez vs. Diaz in July.
