Top 3 underrated fighters based on their likeability

    1. Prince Naseem Hamed - DOMINATED the Featherweight division. Was TRULY the first person to beat all 4 reigning Champions in any weight class. (W. Vasquez WBA, Cesar Soto WBC, Tom Johnson IBF, Stevo Robinson WBO) Lost only once largely in part to being completely out of shape, and STILL never even hit the canvas against since proven great MA Barerra. Was very brash, but surprisingly gracious in defeat. Only pure hatred of his attitude can get in the way of calling Hamed an All Time Great.

    2. Lennox Lewis - Was the black horse of the golden trilogy of Bowe - Holyfield. Neither fighter wanted any piece of Lennox and Bowe actually gave up his WBC belt rather than face his Olympic Conquerer. Has defeated every man to EVER step into the ring with him, and HAS FACED ALL LEGITIMATE CONTENDERS of his era. Made a habit of devastating undefeated prospects. Avenged both defeats with stoppage wins. ON his worst night KO'd the man who is currently considered the Best of the big men. Only pure Hatred of his nationality and attitude can get in the way of calling Lennox one of if not THE greatest heavyweight of all time.

    3. Mike Tyson - Expectations are the key here. How can someone say in one sentence that the guy is totally washed up, and then in the next sentence say he's a bum for not going straight for the championship? The answer there is that deep down inside everyone knows that even a decent fraction of the real Mike Tyson is the conquerer of any active heavyweight today. Once the public turned on him, so did their perception of his accomplishments and skill. Lost to Danny Williams for trying to fight on with an injury 5 times more serious than the man currently considered the boss at Heavyweight suffered and subsequently quit against Chris Burd over. Is now a broken spirit who is about 60% physically deteriorated and 95% mentally deteriorated as far as boxing goes. The last 5 years has tarnished his legacy no doubt, but real fans will always know deep down that the real Mike Tyson was a total wreckong machine and even Lennox Lewis was scared to get withing 4 feet of him for half of their fight, which was long after Mike Tyson had lost his mental edge. Only pure hatred because of the media portrayal of Mike Tyson and looking to far into his over the hill fights can get in the way of calling Mike Tyson an all time great.

I like all 3 guys you named.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "underrated based on likeability." Are you saying Who are the most unliked fighters that deserve to be liked?

I think what he is saying is that people don't give them there just due because they don't like them personally.

Yeah thats it. People confuse their ability with how much they like them personally for whatever reason.
