    Is it really POSSIBLE to workout 5-6 hours a day???

    We all have herd of pacquiaos legendary training routine where he work's out 4 hours non stop.

    So my question is it really possibly to workout for that long in a sport such as boxing???

    People looking in from the outside might say " baah wtf is the big deal with 4 hours straight". But for thoese of you who have trained for a fight will know just how difficult it is on the body.

    People will bring up maby Michael Phelps. That dude trains like 6-8 hours a day. But swimming and boxing there is not even a comparison.

    Plus he don't just swim for 6 hours a day. That varies in gym and stuff.

    Belongs in the training & nutrition section.

    But I don't think 5-6 hour training sessions are really possible unless they are super light training (which I doubt cause it's boxing).

      It's possible, but I think he still takes a couple 5-10 minute breaks during those 4 hours to catch his breath, drink some water, etc.

        People will always pick and choose what to believe.

        You really believe everything they say about how long he trains, non stop etc etc??

        They deny the use of any PEDS yet some rather choose to believe otherwise.

        So what make you think he really trains 4 hours non-stop? Because Roach told you?

            All that talk about PAC's 5-6 hour workouts is just hype. Whenever PAC is in training the WildCard is shutdown from 1 to 4p.m.

            I don't think he's literally workin' out for 4 hours straight, he gets to the gym chops it up with the fellas then changes into his workout gear, clowns around and gets bizzy at the most 2 hrs and then it probably takes him 30min' to shower gets dressed and clowns around and done.

            I have somewhat of an idea because I've been there for one of his workouts.

              Exactly , you got to be a complete ****** to believe anyone can workout 4 hours non-stop with no break in between, even if you're on A-seth meth combined with all the greatest PEDS of all time you still can't work out high intensity 4 hours straight lol,...

              unless you go out for a 4 hour walk/jog, if you can call that a work out i guess it is. hahaha

                I can see 5-6 hours going like this:

                Jump rope
                Pad Work
                Jog/Run

                I just cannot see 4-6 hours of heavy bag hitting, intense pad work, intense overall workout.

                  I suggest that the next time Pacman perpares for his fight,
                  they ought to install CCTV camera inside his Gym, to monitor his movements;
                  A representative of Boxing commission to monitor his drinks and food intakes;
                  In this way, all his critics will be satisfied...

                  And in fairness, his opponent will be subjected with the same, mentioned above.

                    Yeah, and Pacquiao always seems super intense during his workouts.
