I don't understand why so much hate towards Cotto other that he's puertorican. This guys never says no, has fought everybody and doesn't talk ****. Obviously, he will have a problem to fight Margacheato, the guy hit him w/ bricks for 11 rounds, what you guys expect from him. Not only Margacheato was a bigger guy but also cheated. After the fight Cotto admitted and gave prompt to Plasterito but when the scumbag got caught that's when he got frustrated. You guys don't understand that you can get killed by something like that. Nazzim Richardson even said that he thought that the fight w/ Mosley was going to be suspended and Margacheato was going to arrested. Freddy Roach, Teddy Atlas and other boxing gurus said it was fishy the fight developed. Even Mexican greats Barrera and Chavez Sr. criticized this scumbag!!! What is funny is how some of you moth#$%rs take pride on this. Even w/ the rivalry between mexican and puertoricans I used to have great respect for Mexican boxers and your tradition...Comment

Now on Chavez Jr and Cotto like I said before the worst scumbag is boxing is called Bob Arum, this greedy old bastard only cares about $$$, he'll sell his mom for $$$. There's 3 reasons for this fight: 1st both fighters are TR, 2nd Arum is desperate to have a mexican star, he understand that the mexican community will support their fighters and all up comming are signing w/ GBP & 3rd 2010 is the last yr of Cotto's contract w/ TR. This fight shouldn't happen even I think Cotto is in another league, he will embarrass Jr. I will like to see Cotto w Berto next.Comment

I didn't see the fight, what was the attendance? As for this thread I really hope the fight does not happen. Cotto will steam roll this kid and it will do nothing to better his career. At this point in Miguels career it's legacy not dollars, dude is very wealthy. Not to mention JCC JR is not a good tune up for Marg, Pac, or Mayweather, this could be Gomez tuneup before Marg all over again. If it does happen then it will be a blast to watch though cause Miguel will obliterate him.Comment

i read a couple of people saying angulo vs cotto... thats no different that cotto and jcc jr to me. cotto needs to fight martinez or cintron... someone established or maybe a rematch with mosely at 154 the first fight was close and from what i hear he is going to fight sergio mora... that better be on a card for a bigger ppvComment
