I say another unknown boxer (tomato can) then Nate cambell, then if he beats him maybe holt, or Lamont Peterson, then one of the top jww. Midana, Bradley, Alexander, or even a rematch with khan, if he keeps winning that is. Whatcha guys think?

barrera looked really slow and was up against a guy he could relax and pick his spots against and he was still tired, soto and marquez wont let him fight at this kind of pace

hope he dont taint his legacy like many of the future HoFers of this time did just retire with a win

Really not sure if Barrera can make it back all the way, but I am glad he won.

He's planning on a championship run at 135, not 140.

I'd have to second this. I thought he beat JMM in there first fight. I think he had everything that could go wrong for him on fight night go wrong for him on that night. Between Jay Nady screwing the call up on the knockdown, and the judges being blind as hell -- it doesn't take a genius to see that JMM got his ass beat -- it was a close fight don't get me wrong, but Marco easily should have gotten that decision. Not Marquez. I didn't see the fight last night, so I really can't say how good Barrera is or isn't at this point in time, but depending on how much he has left in the tank; if he has anything left at all: I think this could be a good fight if Marco is still up to par.

Now we see why Anthony Peterson is getting frozen out of the picture. Because the WBC is gonna gargle some Mexican balls (as Ch@mp put it that one time when he was referring to El Chicano, lol) and get a fight set up with Soto and Barrera.

Where are the Pac fans at? I'm surprised they aren't up in arms complaining about this win and how much of a cheat MAB is. I mean didn't he just do the same thing PBF did by coming in overweight and paying his opponent more money for it!? I mean that has to be the reason he won right, not because he's actually better than the other guy!?
