Well, Benavides at 18 is a WW or at the very least a massive JWW while Mayweather at 18 was around bantamweight.

People need to get off Benavidez nuts. He is quick, and rangy for his weight. He obviously has talent, but he is not the kind of talent that Floyd is. When he is in there with top competition, he looks much more average. I witnessed it first hand at the US Nationals. Don't get me wrong, he is still very good, and will get very far on his physical speed and power, but he is not the craftiest or smartest fighter.
