David Haye realizes that he's in a situation where he can win, somewhat win or lose. People hate his guts right now. If he retires at 31 without a Klitschko on his resume, then he'll retire as a worthless hype job. If he fights at least one and loses, then he'll get some respect for moving up in weight and fighting such huge boxers who are VERY hard to outbox, and is there really any shame in losing to a Klitschko? But if he wins, well obviously he'll go down in history as one of the best British HW champs, and will be compared to guys like Lennox Lewis.
I think his next fight will be Adamek/Solis, followed by Vitali (clearly the easier fight at this point and a very winnable fight because of his age) and if he wins, maybe Wlad or retirement. He knows what he has to do, and at this point he really has nothing to lose by fighting them. Its not like he's never lost a fight before.
