    Berto is not ducking!

Is Berto a great/skilled all around boxer? Hell no. Would he be anywhere near where he is without his handspeed? Hell f**kin no. But come on, you can't say the guy is ducking anyone. Collazo is at 154 now, Williams and Floyd are managed by the same person as him so a fight between them can't happen, Arum dismissed him as a future Pacquiao opponent, Mosley isn't agreeing to a 50/50 split (I thought it wasn't about money?) and HBO hates Clottey's guts. Well I'm sure a Clottey fight can happen, but why would he duck him of all people? And Berto did mention that he would be willing to move up for a Cotto fight. Of course Cotto has bigger fish to fry (Margo, Pacquiao or Mosley rematch) and Berto can't draw at all, but at least he's trying.

The only possible opponents for him are Bradley and Jones. Bradley is moving up to 147 and if he looks good (I predict a late TKO on July 17th because Abregu has a paper chin and lunges forward recklessly) then he would make a good opponent and people can't say s**t about Berto picking on him because they're like the same size. Jones would be a good choice too. I don't think November would be the right time for a Bradley fight, but I wouldn't have a problem if it happens. I think Berto should get Jones out of the way first and Bradley should move down for a Maidana or Alexander fight first (maybe even both), just to get one or two more elite JWW on his resume before moving back up. Then this fight would be worth something.

Your right. I would like to see him in a Cotto fight. I know Cotto is doing other things but that a quality fight.

Asking for a 50-50 split against Mosley was a dumb business move.

      He'll make peanuts against Jones.

If he fights Bradley and wins he looks like a guy fighting smaller guys and if he loses hes F^cked.(I see it as a toss-up fight)

      I don't think hes a ducker.

      Just a bad business man.

Now that's a more logical opinion.

I wouldn't say garbage, but he's defintely not going to reach the top unless he gets a new trainer, some boxing skills and a boxer's attitude. Rather than clubbing, he should worry about training. Right now Mosley, Cotto, Floyd, Pacquiao, Williams, and even Bradley would beat him.

no one at WW for him to duck
              Mosley maybe fighting Mora
no word on Cotto wanting Berto
Pac and Floyd busy wasting each other's time
missed it if Williams said anything recently about Berto
              Clottey don't deserve ****
Berto has nothing to do really

Exactly. And come on, JWW or not, Bradley is obviously better than Mike Jones.

I don't think he's ducking anyone, but I wonder if he regrets stepping aside for the Mosley fight now. That would have been a good name on his resume if he won.

Dood I agree, some people even tried to claim he ducked Mosley, I was really looking forward to that fight but he did what he had to do. I see some big fights for him in the next 18 months or so. I also agree with your sentiment about Bradley, he is one of my absolute favorites, just a little more pop and he could be devestating.
