Based on TB's accomplishments at the higher weight in the ams, I'm predicting that he carries 147 quite comfortably and looks very fast at that weight. And stronger.
I hope he carries it well. If can carry the wight and not be effected by it then he beats Berto. That is why I am interested to see how Bradley looks against Abregu. Bradley should have an easy time with Abregu. If he struggles in any way then I don't think he is a true WW.
It funny man. Collazo refused the fight vs Adyin to become Berto's mandatory, said he can't fight at 147 anymore, then said he's waiting out his contract with King and won't fight for a year, but Berto's ducking him.
Size, that's a non-issue to me. Most of these Jr WWs; Holt, Peterson, Witter are actually WWs. Peterson is also more polished on the inside then Berto, but I do agree that none of those guys are as explosive as Berto, or as imposing as Berto. What people don't seem to realize is that Berto isn't quick on his feet, he may have very fast hands, but at times he look's sluggish; slow on his feet.
I see Bradley's quick in and out movement exploiting that. Size can only be an issue when the guy is great at cutting off the ring or has some foot speed, he looked terrible against Quintana, despite finishing him in great fashion. Rounds 1-6 were plain boring. Fight wasn't even all that entertaining, I didn't see anything special in Berto. All I saw was constant complaining, lack of in fighting from Berto, and a very weak Quintana in front of him. Only thing Bradley would have to worry about is that killer uppercut, but if he can avoid that he should be able to win very comfortably.
IMO size at some point does matter. Berto is a huge WW. I mean he has fought as high as 160.
And, we still don't know what Bradley we will see at 147. The Abregu fight will be very telling how bradley handles 147.
If he looks like Bradley against Abregu then I agree he will beat Berto. But, if he doesn't look like Bradley in there then he might not be a WW. And, a fight against Berto might not be a good idea.
Everybody body is different. Just cuz one fighter can move up 1 weight-class or even multiple weight-classes doesn't mean that every single fighter can. We still really don't know what Bradley would look like against WW's at 147 until he fights Abregu.
If he carries it well then yea he beats Berto no problem. If he doesn't then he should really focus on 140.

And that was a shot Quintana. The Quintana that beat the other overhyped WW would've sonned Berto's ***** ass.
Yeah. ***** ass.
Come on Berto. Where you at. I know you post on BS punk.
