Forward it to 1:20 or so.

"I don't like my son to fight him. I have my own reasons."

obviously the reason was the PED excuse. Floyd Sr. got scared ****less of seeing Manny handle Cotto like that.

"Let me tell you something man, Pacquiao wouldn't even fight Mosley at 140," remarked world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who sounded extremely doubtful that a clash between his son and Manny Pacquiao would come to fruition any time soon. In a recent conversation with FightHype.com, Mayweather Sr. continued his verbal assault on the Filipino icon. "Lil Floyd dominated him at 147, so if you're afraid to fight Mosley where he would be a dead man, what you gonna do with Floyd," he added, using Mayweather's dominance over future Hall of Famer Shane Mosley as a barometer for what his son will do to Pacquiao should the two ever step into the ring.

The fact that Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, is on record stating that he purposely turned down a fight with Mosley because he's "too good a fighter", leads Mayweather Sr. to believe that Team Pacquiao isn't negotiating in good faith and is reluctant to face Mayweather after his dominant win over Shane Mosley this past May. "Man, Shane would have been a zombie at 40 and Roach still wouldn't step up to the plate and fight him," Mayweather Sr. added, quick to remind everyone that Pacquiao turned down an opportunity to face Mosley, the WBA welterweight champion at the time and widely recognized as the top fighter in the division, at 140 pounds. Pacquiao instead chose to fight Miguel Cotto, the WBO welterweight champion at the time, at a catch-weight of 145 pounds.

Although both sides have kept quiet regarding negotiations for a potential showdown, Mayweather Sr. is of the opinion that there isn't going to be a fight unless Pacquiao is willing to agree to their initial terms, including the issue of random blood testing. "Pacquiao don't want to fight Lil Floyd! If he did, he could make it happen," Mayweather remarked, hinting that Team Mayweather's stance hasn't changed and that the ball is still in Team Pacquiao's court. Whether or not they're any closer to making the fight a reality than they were last December remains to be seen, but judging from Floyd Mayweather Sr.'s comments, it doesn't sound like it.

You are right Sr., he wants to fight you in the ring so you better put the pipe down and start training

Ol Floyd Sr! Riding on the coattails of his son's career. I ignore him because he makes up stuff to get himself into the press.

This is the same Sr. who has been saying, "I don't want my son to fight him (Pacquiao.)"

I don't even think this crackhead is sincere in all these caring pronouncements on his son. I mean this is the same guy who was offering Dela Hoya his training services in his fight against Floyd Jr. for, I think, $2 million. Can you imagine a father offering to train his son's opponent how to hurt his own son?

I've always suspected that this Floyd Sr. is doing all he can to prevent the fight from happening. Why? Because he knows it will involve millions of dollars. He wants a piece of it. He is dying to be Roach's counterpart in the ring if the fight happens. Apparently, his son prefers his uncle Roger.

Mayweather Sr comments are nothing but cover up the real issue - they're the one that are afraid to fight Pacman! If Mayweathers are really for random testing, then how come they agree on 19 day prior to fight time for Floyd, and won't agree on the the 14 day prior to fight time for Pacman? All comments of Floyd Sr against Pacman e****ially when Pacman fought Oscar and Hatton were all proven FALSE! (floyd sr even used the word GUARANTEED!) Hey, where is your credibility?

The fight with Cotto was already basically a done deal when Shane interjected himself into the picture, idiot. How many times do we have to go over this. Floyd Sr said something, and I just watched static on my tv for three hours because my cable is out, it was exciting.
