Of coure Haye is the true HW champ. He beat Nikolai Valuev...Valuev is better than anyone else out there. Sure he lost half a dozen times but won via terrible judges, and yeah sure he got beat by Chagaev who then got crushed by Wlad, but Haye is the man and squeeked one out against the giant.
No, Haye is smart. He cant beat the Klitschko's. He also knows that regional fights and possibly fights against past prime HOFers like Toney, Holyfield, or past prime fan favorites like Tua are the best way he can safely make money. Take pride out of it. Lets say you had a horse who you knew from video tape and times etc...that it would take another horse coming up lame for your horse to win. Would you put your champion horse up against that horse or would you just tell people your horse would win and race in races you can win. Its a smart business decision for Haye, he cant beat the Klitschkos. He watched the vid while training for Wlad, he sparred taller guys with reaches and athleticism and realized he cant win.. He pulled out of the Wlad fight after that.
What he will do now is say he wants the "better brother (Vitali)" and delay till Vitali is ready to retire at 40 freaking years old. Then he will claim he retired Vitali. He then will come up with excuses for Wlad until Wlad shows he can even be touched, let alone beat. Its good business. Is he an overrated hypejob? yes. Does he stand a chance against Wlad or Vitali? Absolutely not. Is he an idiot like Arreola or Chambers or Chagaev or other fighters with promising futures who make the mistake of stepping into the ring with guys they have to know they cannot beat? no. he is much smarter than them.

I don't know how those Brits can be fans of a fighter like that. He might be smart and making money and all that, but how is that good for his fans who believed in all the rubbish he was/is spewing. I guess it's better to be a delusional nut-hugger than a realistic nationalistic fan with no one from your country to root for.
