    Exclusive Interview: Zab "Super" Judah

    Exclusive Interview: Zab "Super" Judah
    By G. Leon
[left]GL: The other day you informed ********** that Pernell Whitaker would be your new co-trainer. Tell us how that came about? "That's been my mentor for a lot of years now and we finally made it official. There's always been love there like that and once we spoke we knew it was destined for us to make it happen. He was the best pound for pound fighter in the world and I'm going to be the next best pound for pound fighter in the world. He's going to show me some tricks and it's like I told you the other day, with me and Pernell together it's a wrap for these cats. We're going to shut the game down."

GL: Do you believe Pernell will be able to succeed as a boxing trainer without experiencing any further personal troubles?

Zab Judah: "Oh of course. He's ready and focused. He knows what he wants to do and he wants to be in the sport of boxing. So who better for him to be with than his boy? He's one of the baddest fighters to ever put on boxing gloves and with his professional knowledge and what he knows combined with what my father knows and what I've learned, we've become an unstoppable team."

GL: You also informed me that you brought in Joshua Dubin. What will his role be and how did that come about?

ZJ: "He's going to be my attorney and we're going to make some things happen. Josh is a good guy, he's very knowledgeable, he knows what he's talking about and he's a good guy. I like what he stands for in the game that he's in and that's real important to me."

GL: Any update on your next fight?

ZJ: "Nothing serious yet, but there's a couple of options out there that we're ready to explore."

this should be interesting..though new trainers don't always equal a brand new fighter right away...it will be interesting if we see some Pea like tactics from Zab in the future

Maybe Demetrius Hopkins will want to get Pernell Whitaker as a co-trainer too..especially since he's all on his ****.
