Marg would end pacs boxing career

If Pacquiao's speed proves to be nothing against Margarito. It would be better to just look away. Specially since Pacquiao swells and cuts very easily.

When was the last time Pacman had a cut? In the second Marquez bout I think he may have had one, before that vs. Morales but that was from a headbutt. Pacman also doesn't swell badly as its never been an issue in his career, add to the fact plaster hands won't be loaded up the last thing he'll do is beat up Manny's face. As far as technique is concerned, if you honestly think Marg has a chance against Pac you are crazy. Manny's beaten Morales, Barrera, DLH all come forward Mexican fighters and stomped them all.

Morales and Barrera were close because of the speed, they were able to keep up with Manny. Not to mention Manny killed Diaz and Hatton and put a beating on Cotto who are aggressive fighters, Hatton/Diaz more so than Cotto. All Cotto has fought are guys with crappy defense skills, he'll be far faster than Cotto and simply get the first punch in. When Cotto attacked Marg instead of countering just as Mosley they had the best success because Marg's doesn't throw back until after you are done with the combination if he's on the defensive. Manny will simply be do that and get out before Marg knew what to do, add in some body shots and Marg will lose, I wouldn't bet on a KO as Manny doesn't throw haymakers like Mosley but I can see it happening.

If ever this fight goes through, I'm guessing it would be another Pac-Dela Hoya rerun. Pac with his unpredictable movement and with Margarito pushing forward with no lateral movement will make him be chasing Pac in circles. All Margarito could possibly do is to keep on pushing and pressuring Pac around the ropes for him to possibly cause damage.

Pacquiao would be too wise for that. He'll punch in bunches, lean away, laterally move to Margs left side. Keep on moving, making Marg move in circles. Repeat, wash and rinse.

It'll probably be a decision win for Pacquiao, a KO would be a slight possibility considering Margarito got his steel chin cracked by Mosley.

Margarito is too slow to get his hands on Pac. His size presents a challenge because he might be able to take Pac's shots. But he won't land with the consistency he needs to beat Pac. Pac has the speed and workrate to UD Margarito even if he don't KO him. It's still a good action fight but not one I'd favor Margarito to win, much less destroy Pac.

Judging my Marg's featherfistful performance last time out he won't be any trouble at all for the Pacman.

If you think the cotto beatdown was bad, you might want to look away if this fight happens.

Pac would get his head knocked off. Marg is too tough to be broken down. You can't outbrawl the brawler.

Maragrito would be one of the slowest opponents Pacquiao has ever fought. Pacquiao would be the fastest opponent Margarito has ever fought. I don't think Margarito would even be able to win a round against Pacquiao.
