As i stated before, Floyd goes into his defensive shell every time his opponent tries to hit him with combinations. Floyd more often than not only counters when you throw 1 sometimes 2 shots at a time. Anything more and he goes total defense mode.

For further proof, you see that he also did it against lesser opponents. Marquez, who doesn't possess WW power put Floyd in his defensive mode when Marquez threw his combos.

Someone like Manny needs to step in, throw combos, step out..... Manny has the advantage of being a lefty, so Floyd's defensive posturing that was witnessed in this video would not be as effective. Manny's smaller stature might be a problem though ....

Great defense but i always thought 'Sweet Pea' has the best defense because i think south paw is the harder stance to be defensive with & he mastered it great.

Have you ever noticed how 95% May's fights usually from round 5 or 6 on look the same no matter who he fights? When you trying your best to hit someone but you cant, but it seems they can hit you almost at will has to mess you up in the head....this is Floyd's greatest weapon
