Margarito.. you're lucky to be in line for anything. You lost your WW title via brutal KO, and on top of that got caught trying to cheat.... This comes back to the sport and acts like it owes him something.

If this fight happens, I cease all support for Manny Pacquiao.
Pac-Marg is bad for boxing.
When you love the sport, you don't care about 1 fighter.
Marg should not be given the chance to fight the p4p#1 just a year after having been caught cheating.
If this fight goes through, **** YOU PACQUIAO.Comment

Sources within Antonio Margarito's team are dis*****g reports that WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto may be in line for a shot at WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. Anonymous sources who are close to Margarito informed Golzka the former champion from Mexico "is ready" to fight Pacquiao at any time and their shot at Pacquiao was promised to them by the mutal promoter of both fighters, Top Rank. Of course you do. And you can counter away.
The Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather welterweight title megafight, tentatively scheduled for March 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, is in jeopardy.
Here is the first link from ESPN.com, dated Wednesday, December 23rd. Please find Rafael’s comments, stating that Pacquiao turned down the testing on Tuesday (that would be December 22). If you continue through, you’ll notice that Rafael states that Roach had discussed OST on ESPN two weeks before and said they had no problem with it. This indicates that they knew about this (and agreed) weeks in advance. But I’m not done.
The second link indeed confirms their knowledge of OST and that they have no problems with it. It is dated December 11th – a couple weeks before Pacquiao’s camp turns down the offer. This establishes at least three weeks in between proposal, agreeing, then backtracking. But I’m not done.

This third link is from none other than boxingscene.com, where Richard Schafer states that OST was in the initial bout agreement so it should not have come as a surprise to anyone. But I’m not done.
I know you would probably say Schafer is lying (even though no one has dared refute him and it’s been the other side that’s been lying). So I searched for a separate, “unbiased” party for you. ESPN. This is the link. So imagine my dismay when I hear Brian Kenny state that Team Mayweather introduced OST at the last second. I thought…wait a second, how can that be so? When based on their own comments, it’s been known for weeks! I really felt like deleting this link and just giving up. But fast forward to after Atlas speaks. Rafael drops a little gem on when EXACTLY the OST was introduced. Here it is, imbedded in one of our old threads:
Let me know if you have any issues. I'm at my office so I can double check everything when I'm home.
Please refer to my initial post regarding this and then the terms set. See you in September.

it says that and i quote:
"Schaefer told ESPN he was uncertain if the change of heart on testing came from Pacquiao himself.
"I have to think Pacquiao is unaware of this," Schaefer said. "The drug testing had been part of the contract for a while and then they suddenly said no...Suddenly they changed course and I don't know why."
so did pac initially agree and then change his heart? not even schaefer was sure of that...in fact he's leaning towards pac unaware of the ost, hmmm...Comment

i read all the links and i didn't find anything that specifically said "pac initially agreed to ost and then backed out" as what you claimed unless you're assuming that roach's statement agreeing to whatever test is as good as pac's decision. in this article however...

i know ost was in floyd's terms at the outset it's stated in the link i posted. you have to realize that the ultimate decision was in the hands of pac...not with roach or arum. the same is true with floyd. now go and find me a link that says pac agreed to ost and then changed heart weeks laterComment
