In a street fight, he'd close the distance, get in on Vitali's legs, probably lift him and drop him on his head. Then commence to pound him into unconsciousness. The majority of all street fights end up on the ground; with that said, Vitali's chances would be slim to none, sorry.

the REAL answer to that question is OBVIOUSLY Lesnar. Theres no question that Lesnar would man handle Vitali once he gets a hold of him.

I think when people look into this kind of fight they fail to take in to the environment into account. If the two of them are in a place with a limited amount of space, say an alley, Vitali takes it. He can throw short, hard punches with assurance and he can also step back and throw a right hand. But if they are in a more open space, Lesnar could very well take him to the ground, or grapple with him and submit him. It is an interesting scenario with no true answer because we have never seen them fight and probably won't.

The ability to take someone down, ground and pound, is highly overrated. You can take any bum off the street and train him those techniques and he'll be decent in MMA.

Imagine if you take a highly trained professional boxer and train him ground techniques, he will be just as successful.
