Vince Mcmahon and Don King actually tried to set up a fight with Lennox Lewish and Brock Lesnar at one time.

Hahahaha, MMA fans are crazy. I'm not gonna lie, I used to be into UFC a while back but I grew out of it. Brock's major attribute's are his amatuer wrestling background and brutal strength, His striking is below average. At the end of the day it's the same with every boxing vs MMA debate, If its standing up then the MMA guy gets destroyed. But if the boxer gets taken down then he is virtually screwed.

I dunno. I guess you have to go with Couture...

I think Toney is really going to struggle because in MMA there is so much more to worry about. In boxing Toney didnt have much to be concerned about because his defence was very good and his chin was great also. But in MMA you can get beaten in so many different ways.

I'll be very suprised if James wins.

street fight not sure. didnt vitali do k1 for a while or some kind of kickboxing? vitali would have to fight smart because it wouldnt take much for brock to end that fight fast and by knock out. im gonna say brock wins.

Unfortunately this exact topic always comes up with me and my extremely pro-MMA friends.

And all they tell me is that Lesnar will bullrush and tackle Vitali down immediately and destroy him. Every counter argument I make, they come up with "well that's actually an advantage for the MMA guy because he can blah blah".

Its always this or "Prime Mike Tyson vs generic MMA badass" or today there was "Floyd Mayweather vs something Silva" in a streetfight.

In a street fight, Brock would dominate him. There wouldn't be a ref around, and anything can happen in street fights. I think Brock would take him down, and beat him.

The ability to take someone down, ground and pound, is highly overrated. You can take any bum off the street and train him those techniques and he'll be decent in MMA.

Imagine if you take a highly trained professional boxer and train him ground techniques, he will be just as successful.

                      Anderson Silva?

Anderson Silva weighs 185lbs they clearly aren't very knowledgable fight fans...

If they are talking about Wanderlei Silva he also weighs 185, they aren't fans of fighting because they don't know ****.
