IM really suprised you mentioned Canelo....the cotto fight was hiss first fight you saw....i expected this tp be a str8 on Khan bash thread.

I think Canelo has a good chin, dont let 1 instance fool you esecially when he KO'd the guy

I would say Roy Jones Jr. He had a ok set of whiskers once. But he is far past his best days and is a risk every time he enters the ring now.

I don't mind if a fighter has a weak chin as it makes their fights more exciting. Not that I think their chins are weak, but it's cool watching Gamboa, Katsidis, Trinidad et al get up off the canvas and come roaring back. On the other hand I was always amazed watching Margarito take shot after shot, especially in the Cotto fight. Amazing resilience.

I think Canelo simply got caught at the worst possible time while throwing his own punch and was badly hurt. To his credit, he recovered and boxed masterfully afterwards.
