That is why to me that was the worse and the other televised fight was "the next Pacquiao" in Rey Bautista.

That undercard was horrendous and even the non televised didn't have any top prospects I don't think.

I think they learn from that mistake. And, have gotten better with their undercards. But, I think they dropped the ball or just got too greedy...

But, with only 3 total televised fight plus the 2 fights were crap. IMO the worst undercard ever.
I think it was greed. Floyd and Oscar didnt want anyone else getting so much of a crumb from their pie.

Yea it was... The card was set up pretty good.

Here is the thing that Arum does. If he feels he has a strong main event. Then his undercards will be eh...

But, if he feels his main event is somewhat week. Then he will strengthen up his undercard.

But, IMO what he does for the sport like focusing on putting boxing other states to get more fans to participate, also bring boxing back to the stadiums, getting out of the stale casino venue, plus making spending money out of his own pocket(which no other promoter does BTW) and set up his own PPV cards just so his fighters could be active and in the public eye. And, lastly they know how to bring up a fighter. Makes Top Rank overall the best promotional company right now.

Well do you think they are going to give up a few million each to put a big name (at least big name to boxing fans) undercard?

The problem is that the promoters, for whatever reason, refuse to put entertaining quality fights on the undercard. They need to put younger guys who wouldn't demand money but would throw punches and have talent. I'm sure they'd give them more than they'd earn as a Friday Night Fight or Shobox main event and some of those fights are top notch.

That's what I don't get. Those quality fights would showcase young talent, would not break the bank, and would gain boxing fans. It's a "no lose" situation...

I"m not sure if you are aware of this (more than likely you are) but alot of event etc that involve top rank fighters are shown via stream on their site (to help get their guys exposure).

I also noticed that when you bought their ppv's, they throw in the non-televised undercards as well.

BTW what type of seats did you get for the fight this weekend. I still haven't bought mine but I was thinking about being cheap and snatching up the 50 dollar ones...lol

According to our papers here, Ward-Dirrell is most likely going down Detroit and Froch-AA in Canada. My fingers are crossed.

What????????? Ward leaving the bay? Seeing is believing.

That is cool about Froch-AA though. Neutral site. That is how all the fights should of been. With neutral judges and refs.

Fuck all that hometown ****. That is how biased judges and ref happens.
