It hurts me to acknowledge Roy Jones Jr as a cheater.

no man, there is no proof steroids makes you faster or more athletic, or more skillful, steroids will only make you bigger/stronger

all the skills, speed and athleticism is your own

hahahaha, i love it when someone gets exposed for knowing **** all

If you have 2 identical twins where one of them trains the left uppercut for 2 hours, while the other trains for 3 hours, who do you think will throw the better left uppercut?

PS: The twin that trained for 3 hours is the roider.

I agree,Roy Jones is a cheater. To be born with that amount of god given talent is simply unfair to all the other boxers who have to work so hard and who would still get their arse handed to them by a prime Roy Jones.

He was a special lad.A once in a lifetime athlete. He shouldn't have been able to get away with what he did in the ring, but he did.

Rather than belittle and discredit him, let's laud the man's credentials and what he gave to this sport.

it depends dont it, all the roider has is more strenght, which doesn't automaticaly equal more power, the non-roider could achieve the same results minus the strenght, just it'd take awhile more

steroids is just the fast lane

obviously the person that works harder will have better results if they had the same genetic makeup

but after a certain point your technique will not get any better, you gotta come to terms with this

training will only keep you in optimum shape to perform at peak technique

Agreed. And people forget...the reason why Jones testing positive wasn't a major deal was because it was covered up. It was never announced, never reported, nothing. It wasn't until a few years later when Richard Hall mentioned it that it became known. Had he not said anything, it would've been buried.

BTW, cong**** to those who are pulling the race card on this thread. You guys are proving that big thread yesterday true.

                    can't your read?
                    no

                    skills = technique

steroids in no way shape or form gives you better technique, you can get the exact same technique training clean

it only improves strenght(some giving you stamina)
in terms of anything else, steroids wont help you get what you can't already get clean(speed, athleticism and skills)

Probably because they had to send a letter to him first, then he had to schedule the re-testing at the time of his convenience, then he had to take the test again. Please believe that all didn't happen the next day.
