if you think sergio is a runner you are ******ed. it is true he is often going backwards in his fights, but he gets in spirited exchanges, and NO runner makes FOTY candidate fights. he fought the smart fight against pavlik - and still busted him up badly in the process.

I really don't see what you guys see in Sergio... He's sloppy, weird and a damn RUNNER. After watching him fight Pavlik, we started calling hime Fonzi the bull fighter here in Philly. Dude whole style is corny. This is what he does: Run, run some more, a lil more, then throw a leaping cross and some bs combo and reapeat. Dude is ****ing lame. That same style is the reason he lost to P.Will. Most of these dudes on NSB have a MAN-CRUSH on Sergio. I think Martinez boxed the toes off of Pavlik. Calling him a runner and this and that...is outlandish. The punch stats suggest he is far from a runner.

I always thought P-Will won the fight against Martinez, and I didn't see him "run" as much as you say he did. I like P-Will too...but I will be the first to admit that he gets hit too much.

I'd like to see Williams rematch against Martinez too...
