WOW Kev, you do? I think it'll be a rough fight for both of them myself. They both are very hittable, fast, with damn good ring IQ. Sergio's jab is better, but Shane's "D" is slightly better. Shane's also got a better left hook(if he remembers how to use it), that Sergio might not see everytime. But Sergio's movement could give Shane pure hell(this is what makes me think that Shane would'nt get a stoppage against Sergio). There are quite a few intangibles that make such a fight really interesting to me, not to mention they're close in age(even though Sergio is a less shop worn than Shane). I think it's a pretty good scrap.
1. He drops the WBC 154 Pound belt and kept the WBO 160 Belt. In turn which means he has to fight a mando in Sebastian Zbik.
2. Dropping the belt means that the 154 Pounders will now have no reason to fight him. Dzinziruk called him out point blank and Martinez acted like he didnt know who he was.
3. Martinez is now ACTIVELY seeking Shane Mosley. I made a thread saying Paul should fight Shane and everyone went nuts. Martinez wants to fight him ...
No one says a peep.
Personally I can care less about who holds the belts. I know you've made another thread commenting how dumb Sergio was because he dropped this belt for that belt...which is fine and all. Dzinziruk is virtually unknown outside the boxing community. Sergio probably feels he is ready for the "big fights" THAT being a Mosley, Mayweather, Margo (maybe) ... (1 & 2 addressed)
3. Ok - This fight would be great! lol Just like a Williams and Mosley fight would be great. Martinez would actually beat Mosley...and beat him bad. I love Mosley...but that is the truth. The people who went nuts are those people are proponents for a Williams vs Martinez/Citron/Margo etc etc...and/or Williams is "overrated" and should be fighting at the designated (Height Limit) LOL. Or simply because you like them...they will hate them lol.

So its okay for him to act like he doesnt know who SD is?
Its okay fro him to drop the only thing that will make the 154 Pounders fight him?
Its okay to fight Sebastian Zbik and Shane Mosley?
So what are you suggesting? He fight these guys 2 at a time? Come on man you come up with these impossiable situations for fighters and **** man it's not like he really has anything else to prove in 154 division when he already fought and in my opinion beat the best 154 pounder in the world(williams).
Like i said give the guy a break he's one of the few fighters out there that takes on back to back fights against highly respected champions for christ sake.
HE FIGHTS PWILL,CINTRON AND PAVLIK. YES HE MUST BE SCARED OF Dzinziruk. EVEN IF HE FIGHTS ZBIK SO WHAT THE GUY HAS FOUGHT SOME SCARY FIGHTERS. 1 RELATIVELY EASY FIGHT WON'T HURT. THE GUY HAS BEEN IN THE GAME FOR ALOT OF YEARS AND WANTS A PAYDAY AND HE KNOWS MOSLEY WILL BRING MORE THEN ***EN DZINZIRUK....WAR MARAVILLA!
exactly! not to mention he's 35. He did what he had to do to get noticed now he's gotta pace himself. Paul and the rest of em aint going no where. We'll get the rematch soon enought
