Well, that is true but so does this excuse nuthuggers from say Floyd,Cotto, etc. SMH. Remind me of a thread (of all people )by El Jesus. Hmmm. Singling out Filipino sports writers and now this thread criticized Filipino fans. . I'm a Filipino and I don't take offense on this article but people need to open their eyes. You would see that we are cut from the same mold. Bias is ingrained in us all. Objectivity is often thrown out.

It's like religion. Everyone chose to side to whatever they think best mirror their personal preferences. But it does not mean that other religions are necessarily right/wrong in their beliefs.

Now let's relax and just enjoy the sport regardless of nationality.

i got on the media, at no point did i imply anything other than bias. i not once implied that filipinos were in any way dumb or inferior.

that was my opinion and i framed it from my own belief. you cant possibly compare that to the constant stream of "monkey mayweather" "blacks are ******" "only ****** blacks like mayweather" that gets said on here on a daily basis.

the sentiment i used was at the closest an attack on a national media, which you can do to any media outlet anywhere in the world, it doesnt imply the amount of vitriolic racism that gets spouted on here on the daily.

Yes. He was even ****ted on TV by 3 sportscaster because of his flipflopping between networks and when he refused a 50-50 with Hatton.

Don't mistake me probably > 70% of the media adore him. And when he fight almost 100% rally behind him. But if he does bad even though how small, he is crucified mercilessly because of his stature. Just because you see some nuthuggers in the Philippine media it doesn't mean that all are that biased.

the bottom line is, there is a virtual leigon of pacfans here. their virtual invasion here post december 2008 has flipped this entire board upside down.

there was always a pinoy lounge, there were always pinoys here supporting pacquiao when i joined in 2004. however after the de la hoya fight its been an unbearable troll driven ****hole.

Yes there is definately racist implication from some mayweather fans, but here is the difference, leigons ,at least 5/10/15 pac fans will report that person, red k them and run them out of town quickly.

whereas *******s like feefiflofum posted garbage like he did and you know what the problem was? barely any of these pinoys actually joined in the condemnation of his bull****, which is constantly the case.

pac fans outnumber everyone on here, all these bull**** photoshops, maximum ****riding and red k'ing and flatout f@gism has ruined this entire site, and many others.

And the fact is, just look at how pacfans frame their arguments "get over it". get over it, yet youre panochas get wet everytime pac is criticised on here. everyone becomes a target here and in pacland, blatantly racist photoshops are passed off as "oh its just fried chikken"

yet as others pointed out, nobody other than blacks get photoshopped as monkeys. barrera wasnt. morales wasnt. hatton wasnt. jmm wasnt.

there is an entire leigon of pacfans and alot of their bull**** is either championed or ignored by other members of that community. when pac loses and finally takes a devastating loss his fans, just like what happened after the 1st morales loss, will take a long hiatus.

I think most of his fans are biased and often idiotic but not the media. I remember watching a video where Fillipino sports analyst Ronnie Nathanielsz claimed that he thought Pacquiao lost to Marquez and they gave him the decision because he is more marketable. He also claimed that an investigation should have been filed because of it.

That was the marquez fight LOL.

There were some excuses about the head butt that caused the cut but that's all, we have admitted the fact that a champion of top caliber can find a way to win a fight despite a cut but he loses and all pinoys here were united in giving eric his due for winning it fair and square.

Funny but I bet real money against pac when he fought hoya and I agree that many loud fans sprouted out and brag about pac not only in this forum but in almost all forums in the cyberspace after that pac win.

Pacquiao exceeded the biggest of expectation by being where he is now. But then again, el jesus dude, I disagree with you when you said that the philippine media treats pac like a god cause that's simply not true man. I'm a pinoy and have read a lot of criticisms by philippine media on pac.
