It truly is disturbing to view remarks like that from fans. It's beyond nationalistic pride, and it actually takes away from the integrity of that person and or what that person represents.

Come to think of it, I really haven't seen any racist comments from other fans about Pac and/or Phillipines. People might make general comments about steroid use and such but nothing racist...

Even in the Floyd vs Ricky days , when the two camps went at each other hard, it never developed the closet or overt racism you see from the Filipinos now.

This stuff takes away a lot of the fun in being a boxing fan.

The best threads end up being the non-Pac/non-Floyd threads. Because the real fans talk boxing on those.

Besides, racist comments towards a Pinoy would get you banned. The reverse isn't the same, though.
