I have worked with highly dynamic black executives in the past, I would hate for anyone to think that they got where they are due to the company supporting affirmative action, diversification initiatives.
Racism exist because we continue to look for it. How good would it be for a black man to land a job knowing he bested all other candidates, rather than meeting a quota? Or how bout the exceptional russian who didn't get the job because he was the wrong color?
If you ignore "true" racist remarks and not make a "big deal" out of it, they will eventually go away, or hopefully die... Just like in nature, you don't use it, you lose it...
