He made 1 mill with a blown up lightweight that everyone knew had no chance to win. Yet people still paid to see it.

Fighting a massive WW would only generate similar numbers. They would promote Clottey so hard in the 24/7. The guy who Margarito couldn't even shake up and they would get some sob story about how Clottey grew up in africa and clawed his way to fighting Mayweather.
Oh yeah, Floyd did 1m with marquez. Do You know his marketing strategy and hbo strategy on how to promote it?

They kept on showing Marquez was the arch nemisis of pac, They showed footages of pac and marquez fight to hype up the fight.

It was Pac that sold the fight. If Marquez didn't fight pac they would have a hard time selling the fight.

They where creating interest by showing how epic pac and marquez did, and the viewers wanted to know how the former p4p will stack up against a blown up light weight for comparison to the current p4p.

In other words, it was pac's rivalry with marquez that sold the fight. Everytime Floyd opened his mouth during the camp he needed to mention pac. Why? he needs pac to sell the fight lol..

spoon you are so ****in ****** and biased.....floyd does 1M+ with anybody with ease lately especially after the comeback. floyd is a bigger draw why even try to disprove it. accept it and move on, the proof is undeniable

hehe, seems like I hit a nerve from the self proclaimed slickster hehe.. Take it easy it's just a poll.. Don't have any influence with the result.

Well seeing as how Clottey probably ruined his already non-existent name (if that's even possible) in his last fight I wouldn't be surprised if this fight did less than 500K. If I had to guess, it would be 400K-500K.

Yup very true, but even if Clottey fought mayweather first than Pac, I see it below 400k.
