floyd will throw about 20-30 punches a round. Maybe less, but not more. he will be too scared of pac's speed, power, volume, and southpaw angles.

the question is how many punches will throw a floyd. if floyd doesnt get KOd in round 3, id say guns blazing 1000+ if it goes to a decision. Pacs not gonna give him room to breathe or even relax.

I'm convinced that you know nothing about the sport of boxing. How many times have you seen fighters hit the 1000+ mark in a fight. He was able to do that against Clottey because all he had to do was throw punches at him, it didn't hurt that nothing was coming back either.

Against Mayweather he will have to move around the ring meaning he will have to be more conservative with the amount of punches he throws. There's also the issue of counter punches, if he continues at a high pace he will get countered more and probably get stopped so it's likely that his work rate will diminish.

I expect Mayweather to throw between 40-50 punches per round. With Pacquiao I'm not sure, if his work rate is similar to the Cotto fight I see him getting stopped as he won't back off, if it goes the distance I see an average of about 55 punches a round.

I can def see him throwing 50 around because pac mostly throws combo. so I figure at least for the first half of the fight, the more Pac throws the more May throws. 1. because he doesnt wanna get out hustled and 2. He's a counter puncher baby!
