After winning the middleweight title of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Miguel Cotto has called the company Top Rank get him the most prominent names.
Andre Berto is one that is willing to take a step forward to challenge Cotto.
"We love the idea," said Lou DiBella, promoter of Berto, in a telephone interview with Primera Hora. "Berto would be willing to rise to 154 pounds to challenge Cotto. I understand that would be a sensational fight for the styles of both fighters, "he added.
However, DiBella acknowledged that should be patient because other scenarios that are also under consideration by Bob Arum, promoter of Cotto.
