    Pac should accept 60/40!!!!!

In a nutshell, Mayweather needs it more....

After the DLH/Hatton fights, Mayweather made close to a 100 million dollars.... He thought he could retire and live off of it for the rest of his life... But, fastforward a year and a half, he squandered much of his money, so much so, he was forced to come back to make more...It was so bad that he couldnt pay his taxes and creditors were sueing from left and right... Its as simple as that...

Pac, on the other hand, lives modestly in comparison, and has invested in businesses, property, while being endorsed by countless of products... He stars in movies, and probably makes as much, if not more outside boxing... His Congressional seat in PI has insured his wealth for generations to come...

Now, in the bigger picture of it all,,,,Pac's 40% will last him longer and sustain his treasury for much much longer than Floyd's 60%....

If history repeats itself which it usually does,,,, even if Floyd got 80% of the purse, he would most likely be broke in a matter of a few months again...

So give Floyd 60%... Its good for the economy...

If the fight falls through because Floyd wants 60% of the purse, then he should take full blame for it not happening. That said, I'm surprised people are taking these releases seriously. One side is doing all the talking (like the first go-around) and the other isn't. That first go-around, these same people had their stories all mixed up and crazy so why feed into it again?

i'm confused here...why should manny pac give 60% to floyd mayweather, when they are both pretty equal in terms of draw status, p4p status, etc. that would be poor business irregardless of the fact that floyd is a habitual spender and manny is more conservative with his money...?...

          the answer is simple.

NEITHER fighter makes the money they would make in this fight without the other.
NEITHER fighter will cement the final page of their legacy without beating the other (for the simple reason they're both available, and they're both close to prime, and they're both claiming the other fighter doesn't want the fight).

So all the PPV sales bull****, etc....it's worthless banter from Floyd's ****-boys.
Floyd has had 24/7 to help him out in his other fights. He needs all this hype because people generally find him boring. He hypes the fight through the media and 24/7 ****-talking because the actual fight is a "boring" boxing contest.

Casual boxing fans know Manny Pacquiao. He's "the little asian guy who's been knockin everybody out". Casual boxing fans have HEARD of Floyd, but either haven't followed his career or don't care to watch a boxing clinic.

Again, they'd need each other to make:

          1. the biggest fight of this generation
          2. the richest fight in the history of the sport.
          3. the world know who's truly this era's p4p king and ATG.

sorry, but that sounds like it's right about down the middle. 50/50 should be the split. Floyd brings the hardcore fans, Manny brings the casual AND hardcore fans.

70/30 purse split on Pacquiao's favor is the only way to go. Warriors like Pacquiao deserves bigger share of the pie than a ducker.
