I've been reading the countless post about who deserves more money. The consensus seems to be that Floyd fans say PAC doesn't deserve 50%. They like to lay out figures about how much better Floyd fights have sold than Pac's. My answer to that is who gives a ****. Those numbers don't mean anything. I'm concerned about the numbers projecting forward. What is the common phrase attached to this fight. "It will be the biggest fight of all-time". Not of the decade or the past 50 years, but of all-time. The estimates are mind blowing. 3-4 million ppv buys, possible close to 5 million. That would be double the current highest selling fight of all-time(Oscar vs Floyd). How is that possible? Why could this fight not just break records, but shatter them into a million ****ing pieces? It's a simple answer people. The answer is the two men who will be fighting. Those numbers only become a reality if you have the #1A and #1B best and most popular fighters on the planet going at it. Only possible if one superstar and icon is standing across the ring from another superstar and icon. There is no other way. Floyd can't approach those numbers without Manny and Manny can't do it without Floyd. Floyd has been the A-side for his past 3 fights and the best he has done is 1.4 million. The best Manny has done is 1.2 million. These guys have a ceiling by themselves, but together they could be limitless. They are equal in importance, so they should be equal in reward. Quit disrespecting Manny Pacquiao. Give him his 50%!!!!!!!!!!

PAC deserve 60% because he's the Fighter Of The Decade but since Mayweather is all crying about it I think 50/50 is fair.

look at it this way, it is suppose to do more then 3 mil buys. Add Floyds biggest PPV with Pacs biggest PPV and you get 1.4 + 1.25= 2.65 mil Buys. So it would show that together produce huge numbers not because 1 fighter is a huge attraction but because both together are huge and pretty much equal

Saying pac deserves more because he's fighter of the decade (by popular vote) means nothing in contrast to the magnitude of this fight. Same goes for floyd and using past PPV records.
This fight...this matchup dictates the value of this fight and matchup...not anything from the past.
That includes accolades and ppv numbers.
